In a first, Pakistan, Russia ink barter trade deal



Pakistan and Russia recently signed a barter trade deal during the inaugural Pakistan-Russia Trade and Investment Forum in Moscow. This marks the start of new bilateral relations between the two countries, with Minister for Privatisation Abdul Aleem Khan expressing confidence in the potential for joint ventures in various fields. Pakistan’s Ambassador to Russia, Muhammad Khalid Jamali, highlighted the growing trade between the two countries, surpassing one billion dollars. Both countries are eager to enhance their economic and trade relations, with Pakistan offering an attractive business environment and open sectors for investment.
