In a first, Pakistan, Russia ink barter trade deal

The Pakistan-Russia Trade and Investment Forum in Moscow marked a historic moment as the two countries signed a barter trade deal for the first time. The memorandum of understanding was signed between LLC “Astarta Agrotrading” and Pak Meskay and Femtee Trading Company and National Fruit Processing Factory. Minister for Privatisation Abdul Aleem Khan expressed confidence in the new bilateral relations, highlighting the attractive business environment in Pakistan. Pakistan’s Ambassador to Russia Muhammad Khalid Jamali expressed satisfaction with the growing trade between the two countries, emphasizing the importance of enhancing economic relations.
