Iga Świątek breezes past ‘best friend’ Kaja Juvan in less than 50 minutes to reach US Open fourth round

Iga Świątek dominated her match against Kaja Juvan at the US Open, winning in straight sets 6-0 6-1 in just 49 minutes. This was one of the most one-sided matches in recent history, with Juvan only winning 15 points. Despite being close friends, Świątek stayed focused and didn’t let sentimentality get in the way of her performance. She is looking unbeatable as she aims to defend her title, with just five unforced errors in her flawless performance. She will face either Jelena Ostapenko or Bernarda Pera in the quarterfinals. Świątek is still adjusting to her success but is learning to embrace and be proud of her achievements with the help of her team and advice from Roger Federer.
