Ex-Fulham captain Gibbons says she was groped by Al Fayed

Former Fulham women’s team captain Ronnie Gibbons has come forward with allegations of being sexually assaulted by former club owner Mohamed Al Fayed. She described two instances where Fayed tried to forcefully kiss her and groped her at his department store in 2000. Fulham has expressed support for Gibbons and is conducting an investigation into the matter. This comes after 40 women have made similar claims against Fayed, who was never prosecuted and passed away last year. Gibbons hopes that sharing her story will help others who have experienced similar trauma.
