Kia’s global sales declined in the third quarter of 2024, but Kia India continued to see growth in sales. The company sold 7,63,693 units globally during this period. India, along with other regions like North America, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific, saw an increase in sales, driven by recreational vehicles. However, overall global sales were down due to production upgrades and model lineup optimizations. EV sales also decreased, but hybrid vehicle sales grew. Kia’s electrified vehicles accounted for 21% of total sales in the third quarter. The company remains optimistic about the future, with plans to bring the Kia EV3 SUV to India in 2025.
