Changes in Entry Points at New Delhi Railway Station to Manage Diwali, Chhath Puja Rush

As the festive season begins, the Northern Railway has made changes to the entry system at New Delhi Railway Station to handle the expected increase in footfall. Passengers with reservations for trains departing from platform 16 can now only access it through gates 7 and 10 on the Ajmeri Gate side, as entry from the foot overbridge is closed. A separate gate and ‘green corridor’ have been designated for passengers with unreserved general tickets to ensure smooth entry. Direct access from the DMRC Metro Skywalk to the foot overbridge has also been suspended temporarily. These measures aim to enhance crowd management and maintain order during this busy period.
