John Kelly, Donald Trump’s former chief of staff, has criticized Trump, calling him a fascist and saying he admired Hitler and would govern like a dictator. Kelly, a retired four-star general, served in the Marines and later in Trump’s administration. After leaving, Kelly began speaking out against Trump, including supporting the use of the 25th Amendment to remove him from office. Trump has also criticized Kelly, calling him an “idiot” and a “clown.” Kelly stands by his statements, saying Trump fits the definition of a fascist and lacks understanding of the Constitution and rule of law. Trump’s campaign has denied Kelly’s claims.
