Taiwan urges China to reconsider actions amid ‘diehard independence separatists’ reports

Taipei has appealed to Beijing after China’s Taiwan Affairs Office labeled individuals as “diehard Taiwan independence separatists.” Taiwan’s Mainland Affairs Council criticized China’s actions, stating that they will not lead to positive outcomes. The council urged the Chinese Communist Party to change its approach to improve relations between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait. The statement was in response to comments made by Chen Binhua, a spokesperson for the Taiwan Affairs Office.
