Prince Karim Aga Khan dies at 88 in Lisbon



Aga Khan IV, the spiritual leader of the Shia Ismaili Muslims and a close friend of Queen Elizabeth, has passed away at the age of 88. His death has left a void in the hearts of his followers, as announced on the Aga Khan Development Network website. Known for his work in improving the quality of life for individuals and communities worldwide, his legacy will be honored as his organization continues its mission. Despite living a private life, Aga Khan was a revered leader of around 12 million people from the Ismaili sect of Islam. Our condolences go out to his family and the Ismaili community during this difficult time.
