A large fire broke out at a U.S. Army storage center in Busan, South Korea, on Thursday evening. The cause of the fire is still unknown, and the warehouse was empty at the time. The U.S. Army Garrison Daegu activated mutual aid agreements with the Busan Fire Department to help contain the blaze. The fire was eventually brought under control, but it took several hours to completely extinguish it. The building’s structural integrity and residual heat have prevented investigators from determining the cause of the fire. The site was originally built as a supply depot in 1950 during the Korean War.
