Karine Jean Pierre: ‘Global headwinds’ blamed for election result in first White House briefing since Nov 5



White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre discussed the recent election results, attributing the Democrats’ losses to global challenges faced by all incumbent leaders. Despite accomplishments, the COVID-19 pandemic created political difficulties. When asked about Joe Biden’s responsibility for Kamala Harris’ loss, Karine stated that Biden believes he made the right decision to step aside and is proud of his accomplishments.
