Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was one of the first world leaders to congratulate President-elect Donald Trump on his victory. They had a warm and cordial conversation, agreeing to work together for Israel’s security and discussing the Iranian threat. Hamas called on the incoming Trump administration to stop the war in Gaza. Other world leaders, including Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, also reacted to Trump’s victory. Trump reportedly asked Netanyahu to end the conflict by his inauguration. Netanyahu visited Trump at Mar-a-Lago in July, where the message was initially conveyed.
