Israel strikes Lebanon targeting financial assets linked to Hezbollah

The Israeli Defense Forces launched airstrikes against Lebanon, targeting financial institutions linked to Hezbollah, a militant group backed by Iran. The strikes aimed to disrupt al-Qard al-Hassan, a unit in Hezbollah that funds terrorist activities. The IDF issued evacuation orders for civilians near these locations and stated that the mission is not over until hostages held by Hezbollah are returned. The goal is to weaken Hezbollah’s financial support for the conflict with Israel. The strikes come after escalating tensions and all-out war between Israel and Hezbollah. The United States is investigating leaked documents indicating Israel’s military preparations in response to Iran’s attacks.
