Iran-backed Houthi rebels strike two commercial ships in Gulf of Aden

Iranian-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen have been launching attacks on commercial ships in the Gulf of Aden, with over 175 attacks since November. The attacks increased after U.S.-U.K. strikes on Houthi locations earlier this month. The latest attacks involved missiles hitting two cargo ships, but luckily no one was injured. The Houthis say the attacks are in retaliation for Israel’s actions in Gaza. The U.S. has launched a mission to counter these attacks.
