In October, ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations Houston Field Office deported 25 child sex offenders who were convicted of crimes while in the US illegally. These offenders had gang affiliations, multiple deportations, and multiple convictions for various crimes. The criminals were from various countries including El Salvador, Mexico, Ecuador, and Guatemala. The ERO Houston office did not release the names of the offenders but provided details on 10 of them. The office emphasized their commitment to protecting the community from dangerous criminal noncitizens and restoring integrity to the nation’s immigration system.
