After pagers, Hezbollah’s hand-held radios detonate in Lebanon | Kerala News

The tensions between Hezbollah and Israel escalated further as hand-held radios used by Hezbollah detonated, following similar explosions launched via pagers. The blasts occurred near a funeral organized by Hezbollah, resulting in casualties. Hezbollah retaliated by attacking Israeli artillery positions with rockets. It was revealed that Mossad planted explosives inside pagers imported by Hezbollah. The death toll rose to 12, with many injured. Hezbollah denied involvement in the explosions and vowed to retaliate. The situation has raised fears of a wider Middle East conflict involving the United States and Iran. The plot appears to have been in the making for months, following a series of assassinations blamed on Israel.
