Professor Chilukuri Santhamma, the grandaunt of Usha Chilukuri Vance, wife of Vice President-elect J.D. Vance, spoke to the media at her home in Visakhapatnam. She expressed her happiness at her family member becoming the Second Lady of the U.S. and shared her connection with Usha. Santhamma also emphasized the importance of creating opportunities in India to retain talent. Usha’s father had studied in India before moving to the U.S. for better opportunities.
