Two held for mobile phone theft in Chennai’s Kotturpuram

The Kotturpuram police have apprehended two individuals for stealing a mobile phone from a resident in Chennai. They also arrested the person who bought the stolen phone. The incident occurred on Ponniamman Koil Street, where Ganesan reported that two individuals on a two-wheeler snatched his phone. The suspects, V. Rahul and S. Nitish Kumar, were identified and arrested. Further investigation led to the arrest of the buyer, H. Mubarak Basha. It was discovered that the group was involved in multiple phone-snatching cases in areas like Thiruvanmiyur and Velachery.
