Trump wins Arizona, flipping a swing state Biden won in 2020



In the 2024 presidential election, President-elect Donald Trump has won Arizona, reclaiming the state’s 11 electoral votes that he narrowly lost to President Joe Biden in 2020. Despite Democratic victories in the state being by slim margins, Trump’s campaign was outspent and out-organized by Vice President Kamala Harris in Arizona. Both candidates visited the Arizona-Mexico border during their campaigns, but Arizona was one of the battleground states Trump visited least due to its geographical location.
