Thousands gather outside White House to protest war in Gaza

Thousands of protesters gathered outside the White House to protest the Biden administration’s policies towards the Israel-Hamas war. They wore red clothes and keffiyehs to symbolize a red line that they say Israel crossed. Protesters chanted against Biden and called for an end to the war, with some expressing regret for voting for him in 2020. Organizers and politicians spoke out against the Biden administration, calling for an end to the war and a change in US policy. Some signs had controversial messages, but the majority of protesters did not support Hamas. Some statues in Lafayette Square were vandalized during the protest. Biden is currently in France, not at the White House.
