The upcoming full moon, known as the Hunter’s Moon, will be a supermoon, appearing brighter and larger in the sky. Supermoons occur when the moon is at a closer distance to Earth during its elliptical orbit. This particular supermoon is expected to be the biggest and brightest of the year. It is set to rise on Thursday, October 17, following its closest point to Earth on Wednesday evening. The supermoon will be visible for about three days, from Tuesday night to Friday morning. Skywatchers are advised to look just above the horizon for the best visibility.
