Telangana citizens are facing significant losses due to cyber crimes, with the state being among the top five victim states in the country. The Telangana Cyber Security Bureau director highlighted that human error is the cause of 96% of cybercrimes, emphasizing the need for awareness and caution online. The global cybercrime loss is projected to reach $10.5 trillion by 2035. The Hyderabad Annual Cybersecurity Knowledge Summit brought together experts to discuss the evolving cyber threat landscape and the importance of collaboration between law enforcement, industry, and academia. The summit also emphasized the significance of digital literacy and online safety through the ‘I AM READY’ campaign.
