Sender of threat message seeking ₹5 crore from Salman Khan now apologises

The Mumbai traffic police recently received an apology from a mobile phone number that had previously sent a threat message demanding ₹5 crore from Bollywood actor Salman Khan. The apology was sent to the traffic police’s WhatsApp helpline, confirming that it came from the same number used for the threat. The threat message had warned against taking it lightly and led to a case being registered for threat and extortion. This incident is not the first time Salman Khan has received threats, as he had previously been targeted by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The police had uncovered a plot by the gang to kill him a few months ago.
