Revenues of 3-5 star hotels in Oman up 7.8%

The hotel industry in Oman saw a 7.8 percent increase in revenue for 3-5 star hotels by the end of August 2024 compared to the previous year. This growth was attributed to an 8.4 percent increase in the total number of hotel guests, with Omani guests increasing by 7.5 percent. The occupancy rate also grew by 2.3 percent. The number of guests from different regions also saw varying increases, with the number of European guests increasing by 16.5 percent while guests from Oceania decreased by 27.2 percent. Overall, the hotel industry in Oman is experiencing positive growth in revenue and guest numbers.
