Prof. G.N. Saibaba’s wish to spend quality time with family remained unfulfilled

Professor G.N. Saibaba, a former Delhi University professor and Human Rights activist, passed away on October 12, 2024. His younger brother, G. Ramadevudu, shared that after being acquitted, Saibaba spent a lot of time in hospitals due to his various illnesses. He faced distress and challenges in getting proper treatment, even falling from a wheelchair which led to irreversible injuries. Despite recovering from a surgery to remove his gallbladder, Saibaba developed infections and internal bleeding, eventually leading to a massive heart attack that he could not survive. His family and friends remember him as a dedicated activist who faced many health struggles towards the end of his life.
