Prof. G.N. Saibaba passes away in Hyderabad

Former Delhi University professor Prof. G.N. Saibaba passed away at the age of 57 in Hyderabad on October 12, 2024. He had been hospitalized due to post-operative complications after a gall-bladder surgery. Prof. Saibaba, who was wheelchair-bound, had been arrested in 2014 in a case related to ties with Maoist organizations and had spent a significant amount of time in prison before being released in March 2024. His death marks the end of a long and challenging journey for him and his family.
