Oman a top destination for impulse Indian travellers

The Sultanate of Oman is a popular choice for last-minute bookings among Indian travelers, with around 50 percent of outbound travelers booking less than 14 days before their travel date. The most last-minute flight bookings were made for Oman, Nepal, and UAE, while impulse hotel bookings were prominent in Oman, Qatar, and Azerbaijan. South Indian travelers from Kerala are the most impulsive in booking international flights. Last year, 55 percent of Indians traveling abroad were for leisure, with December being the most active month for international travel searches. The short flying hours and multiple flight frequencies from Indian cities to Muscat make Oman an attractive destination for Indian travelers.
