NYC Diamond District raid allegedly linked to burglary of Bengals QB Joe Burrow’s home, sources say

Two individuals were arrested and charged with conspiracy to receive stolen property in connection to the burglary of Joe Burrow’s home. The suspects allegedly received stolen goods from organized South American gangs and operated a pawn shop in the Diamond District where they fenced the stolen items. FBI agents recovered stolen watches and jewelry from the pawn shop and storage units belonging to one of the suspects. Authorities conducted undercover sales of stolen goods with the suspects to gather evidence. The suspects’ actions fueled demand for burglaries and incentivized criminal activities. The arrests came after several high-profile athletes’ homes were targeted in similar burglaries.
