Nenmara murders: Chenthamara nabbed from forest; police resort to lathi charge to disperse protesters | Kerala News



Chenthamara, a man accused of killing two members of a neighboring family, was arrested in a forest area near Nenmara. After his arrest, protests erupted outside the police station, leading to a lathi charge to disperse the crowd. Chenthamara had fled to the forest after committing the murders and was caught while trying to return home. He had recently been released on interim bail in another murder case and allegedly issued death threats to one of the victims. The police also suspended an officer for alleged lapses that allowed Chenthamara to commit the murders.
