The Enforcement Directorate has filed a Supplementary Prosecution Complaint in the AgriGold Group of companies case, attaching properties worth ₹4,141.33 crore. The Special Court in Nampally has taken cognisance of the complaint. The group ran a fraudulent investment scheme in the guise of a real estate business, collecting deposits without providing promised plots. Funds were diverted to various industries, and thousands of people were lured into investing. Several individuals and entities have been arrested in connection with the case. The investigation is ongoing, with multiple FIRs registered against the group in various states.
