A workshop was organized to discuss the importance of these rest houses in developing the tourism sector, with presentations on laws and regulations, sustainability, and the economic benefits of the project. The Governor of Musandam highlighted the objectives of the project, including meeting the demand for tourist accommodation and promoting the region as a top tourist destination. The project is expected to play a strategic role in achieving the governorate’s vision for tourism development and boosting the local economy.
