Missouri elementary school names building after beloved custodian

Residents in Swedeborg, Missouri decided to name the primary campus building at Swedeborg District lll Elementary School after longtime custodian Claudene Wilson. Wilson has dedicated herself to the school for over 30 years, taking on various responsibilities and always putting the needs of the students first. Despite the unanimous vote by the Swedeborg School Board, Wilson remains humble and feels her name doesn’t need to be on a building. The community views Wilson as an iconic figure, defining greatness in a different way. Students admire Wilson’s dedication and aspire to be like her.
