A woman named Lovisa Sjoberg was found in a remote Australian mountain range after being missing for almost two weeks. She was discovered dazed and unwell after suffering a snake bite in the wilderness. The search involved helicopters and dog teams after she was last seen driving a hire car in Kosciuszko National Park. She was found with injuries from the snake bite, a rolled ankle, and dehydration. Fortunately, she was treated by paramedics and taken to the hospital in stable condition. Copperhead snakes have powerful venom, and without medical attention, a bite can be fatal.
