‘Maritime History Museum’ worth RO12 mn set to come up in Sur 

The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism signed a financing agreement worth RO 12 million to establish a Maritime History Museum in the Wilayat of Sur, in partnership with Oman LNG and Oman India Fertilizer Company. The museum’s design won the Bilarab bin Haitham Award for Architectural Design, aiming to showcase Oman’s maritime heritage and boost tourism in the region. It is a significant project that celebrates the country’s cultural landscape and history.
