A man accused of killing his girlfriend in Massachusetts and fleeing to Kenya has been re-arrested after escaping police custody. Kevin Adam Kinyanjui Kangethe pleaded not guilty to murder charges and was ordered held without bail. The victim’s family expressed relief at the judge’s ruling and vowed to fight for justice. Prosecutors revealed disturbing details of the attack, stating that the victim was brutally assaulted with a knife. Kangethe allegedly left the victim’s body in a car at Logan airport before fleeing to Kenya. Despite his escape from a police station, he was eventually apprehended and extradited back to the U.S. He is set to appear in court for a pretrial hearing.
