Man posed as utility worker charged with murder over home invasion as police hunt second suspect



A man in Michigan posed as a utility worker to gain entry into a house, where he and another man tied up the wife, murdered the husband, and stole valuables. The suspect, Carlos Jose Hernandez, was arrested and charged with felony murder and unlawful imprisonment. The wife managed to call 911 and escape. The suspects targeted the house due to prior knowledge of valuables. DTE Energy warned against imposters and advised residents to ask for photo ID before allowing anyone into their homes. The community is shocked and saddened by this horrific crime.
