Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde celebrated the beginning of the Ganesh Chaturthi festival with a ritual at his official residence in Mumbai. Along with his family, he prayed for the well-being of the state and its farmers, especially after good rainfall this year. Other political leaders like Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray also welcomed Lord Ganesh at their residences. The festive spirit was seen across the state as leaders visited famous Ganesh pandals to offer prayers and seek blessings.
