His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik chaired a meeting of the Council of Ministers in Salalah, where he discussed the positive financial performance in Oman and the decrease in public debt. He praised the efforts to attract over one million visitors to Dhofar during the Khareef season and emphasized the importance of studying tourist needs to sustain their numbers. The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism reported a significant increase in visitors to Dhofar this year, with 753,105 Omanis, 176,162 GCC nationals, and 121,767 other nationalities visiting. Flight arrivals increased by 5.2 percent, while road arrivals totaled 776,107 passengers.
