Kerala cabinet raises concern over Explosives Act amendment



The State government is worried about the new changes in the Explosives Act, which could impact the use of fireworks in religious festivals in Kerala. The government has decided to address this concern with the Union Government. Additionally, local bodies are now permitted to use government land for waste treatment plants and stamp duty and registration fees are waived for lost land title deeds of Wayanad landslide survivors.
