In season of ‘ticket scalping’, it’s back to fakes

A freelance event manager named Kaushik Raj was arrested for selling fake tickets to Diljit Dosanjh’s concert in Delhi. He made a hefty profit from selling the fake tickets and used the money to buy an iPhone, Apple Watch, and splurge on trips to clubs and hotels in different cities. The police caught him after a complaint was filed by a victim who realized the tickets were fake. Kaushik admitted to editing concert tickets and cheating others as well. He was finally apprehended at Nizamuddin railway station and revealed that he had dropped out of college in 2011 and had been freelancing in event management since then.
