Hyderabad senior citizen duped of ₹50 lakh in stock scam via WhatsApp

A 63-year-old man from Hyderabad was scammed out of ₹50 lakh in a stock trading scam on WhatsApp. The victim joined a ‘Stock Discussion Group’ where a person claiming to be a financial expert promoted online classes with promises of high profits. The victim was directed to invest through a fraudulent platform called Skyrim Capital and eventually lost a large sum of money.
