High-level Saudi delegation to visit Pakistan tomorrow

Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Investment, Khalid Al-Falih, is visiting Pakistan to sign agreements worth $2 billion in various sectors. The visiting delegation includes Saudi companies in construction, engineering, financial services, IT, hospitality, agriculture, food, energy, and petroleum. The minister will oversee the signing of memorandums of understanding and hold business-to-business meetings. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that Pakistan is expected to sign agreements and MoUs with Saudi Arabia during the visit. This comes as Pakistan aims to attract foreign investment to stabilize its economy, which has recently seen high inflation. The country has received loans from the IMF and secured commitments of foreign loans to further stabilize the economy.
