Haiti’s new prime minister hospitalized days after being selected to lead country

Haiti’s newly selected prime minister, Garry Conille, was hospitalized in Port-au-Prince after feeling unwell following a busy week of activities. High-ranking officials visited him at the hospital, but details about his condition were not provided. Conille faces a challenging task as Haiti’s leader, including addressing gang violence and preparing for the deployment of a Kenyan police force.
