Group of Ministers formed in Andhra Pradesh to recommend necessary market interventions for curbing price rise

The State government has formed a Group of Ministers (GoM) to address sudden price increases in essential commodities. The GoM will analyze price escalations and suggest strategies for production, supply, distribution, and pricing of goods. It will also recommend policy measures to ensure reasonable prices for consumers, including market interventions and the creation of a Price Stabilisation Fund. The GoM will submit its recommendations to the Council of Ministers for consideration.
