The M.G.R. Nagar police arrested five men for gambling at a house in the area after receiving a tip-off. The men involved were identified as B. Chandrasekhar, B. Gunasekhar, G. Sakthivel, J. Manikandan, and S. Muthusamy. The police confiscated ₹32,440 and packs of cards from them during the operation.
