FIR against police inspector for misusing seized property

The J.P. Nagar police have filed an FIR against a former inspector for allegedly misusing seized property while working at the station. The current inspector filed a complaint against his predecessor, accusing him of criminal breach of trust. Despite reminders, the former inspector failed to hand over various items recovered from cases. After legal action was initiated, the former inspector did not respond to a notice from the Deputy Commissioner of Police. The police will now summon the former inspector for questioning.
