Excise constable recruitment drive in Jharkhand to resume from September 10

The Excise Constable recruitment exam in Jharkhand, which was halted for three days due to reports of deaths, will now resume from September 10. The Chief Minister blamed faulty COVID vaccines for the deaths. Changes have been made to the recruitment drive, including the exclusion of Palamu district as a test center. Health checks will be conducted before the physical test, with oxygen and BP measuring tools available. The venue for the physical test in Palamu has been changed, and new dates have been scheduled. The Police Headquarters is taking the deaths seriously and ensuring medical facilities are available for all candidates. So far, 1,87,704 candidates have participated with 1,17,031 passing the test. The cause of the deaths is still under investigation.
