Former Arsenal and Germany goalkeeper Jens Lehmann was fined €135,000 for damaging his neighbor’s garage with a chainsaw in an incident from July 2022. The initial fine of €420,000 was reduced on appeal, and Lehmann has accepted responsibility and reached an agreement with his neighbor. He has also paid the parking fees he was accused of avoiding at Munich Airport. Lehmann, who was part of Arsenal’s unbeaten 2003-04 season, made 200 appearances for the club during his five-year tenure.
