Estimated 500,000-plus ballots still uncounted in Arizona: ‘Elections do not end on Election Day’

Election Day has come and gone, but the results in Arizona, particularly in the closely watched U.S. Senate race between Ruben Gallego and Kari Lake, are still pending. The winner of this Senate race will replace Kyrsten Sinema, who opted not to seek re-election in 2024. Regardless of the outcome in Arizona, Donald Trump has already secured a significant Electoral College victory over Kamala Harris in the presidential race.
