Drunk youth jumps into Munneru, goes missing

A young man, Madugula Gopi alias Chanti, got drunk and dared his friend Pasupuleti Rosaiah to jump into the overflowing Munneru River in NTR District. Both friends jumped in, but only Rosaiah made it back to shore. Gopi went missing, and police are searching for him. In a separate incident, the body of Kalidindi Phani Krishna was found in the Budameru canal after his car was swept away. Phani Krishna, a real estate businessman from Machilipatnam staying in Hyderabad, drowned in the canal. Tragic incidents that serve as a reminder of the dangers of alcohol and water.
